Dallas, TX - September 12, 2007 - Beginning this November Clearview will begin offering a new Advanced Client Access module of TSS - at no additional cost. This offering will occur in conjunction with the company’s latest release of TSS, version 6.8 that will be released in November as well.

“For more than 3 years, the Client Access module has been adding value to the business operations of many of our clients,” said David Gorman, President of Clearview Staffing Software. “Recognizing a shift in the market toward further automating the communication process between staffing agencies and the hospitals they service, we made the decision to eliminate licensing fees.” He added that Clearview anticipates more customers will take advantage of this feature, and gain more value from it, now that it is being offered without an additional cost.

Gorman said the new version of Client Access will allow staffing organizations to provide their clients with the ability to: request per diem and long term orders online; suggest agency selected Temps to fill work orders; perform shift confirmations; request cancellations; view the credentials of agency selected Temps; communicate staffing needs via the TSS Messaging feature; and perform online evaluations. In addition, the module has several security settings that control various user permissions.

“The Client Access module has long served as a nice differentiator for TSS customers as they market their organizations to hospitals,” Gorman said.

“The best thing about evaluations is that I can summarize the results and provide my clients with timely reports regarding the quality and performance of my nurses,” Torrento said. Gorman added that this is useful when staffing organizations are applying for Healthcare Staffing Services Certification (HCSS) through Joint Commission.

“As the push for demonstrating quality assurance and compliance continues to be a greater priority in the healthcare staffing arena, streamlining the flow of vital information between the agency and the hospital makes more and more sense,” said Gorman. “Joint Commission has done a great job in promoting the HCSS program. And to be able to support our clients who have achieved certification or are pursuing certification is a good thing.”
