Dallas, TX - September 12, 2007 - In August Clearview Staffing Software launched its latest version of RSS which included professionally validated testing content as part of its Online Competency Testing feature.

RSS, Clearview’s web-based solution for recruiting and qualifying medical professionals, includes online employment application, skills checklist and competency testing features. The software is an extension of any healthcare staffing organization’s web site and allows recruiters and staffers to reach and qualify more candidates quickly.

“Although we released the Online Competency Testing feature in RSS 3.0, we knew that many of our clients really do not have existing test content to qualify their candidates,” Gorman said. He added that the original testing feature only allowed organizations to create, store and administer their own tests.

Gorman said RSS 3.5 includes a Clearview Test Bank with professionally validated tests for nurses and other medical professionals, as well as the option for staffing organizations to create and administer their own tests.

“We know that every staffing organization is different,” Gorman said. “Some agencies will use Clearview’s tests, some will create and use their own, and others will use a combination of both.” Gorman added that it is Clearview’s goal to offer the best solution to meet each organization’s needs.

Gorman also mentioned that RSS 3.5 is unique in that the testing content is included in the cost of the software. This allows organizations to use as many tests as they would like as often as they would like without paying per-test fees.

“Eliminating costly per-test fees has been a real benefit to our customers,” Gorman said. He added that the company also includes professionally validated skills checklists in RSS 3.5. As with the online competency testing feature, organizations can choose to use Clearview’s skills checklists or create and administer their own.

According to Gorman, Clearview is continuing to improve upon its already popular web-based recruiting software.

“RSS already integrates well with our online medical staffing software offerings, TSS and TSS: Advanced Travel,” Gorman said. He added that all of the information collected in the RSS employment application can be transferred to the medical professional’s profile in TSS and TSS: Advanced Travel. The company has plans to further embed RSS into TSS in the future.
