TSS 6.8 Features

TSS 6.8 will bring exciting new features as well as improvements to existing features that you know and appreciate today. We are particularly excited about the significant upgrades made to key TSS features such as Client Access and Evaluations, and have added features to help you maintain Joint Commission compliance. An added benefit to the TSS 6.8 upgrade is the offering of all Advanced Client Access features to all customers without an additional charge. All Client Access customers are now able to add as many contacts as desired to the Client Access account without purchasing additional licenses. This will allow your organization to provide an added value to your clients.

TSS 6.8 Includes Great New Features and Enhancements:

Evaluations Manager

The Evaluation Manager in TSS has been completely redesigned and includes both new features and functionality as well as improvements to existing features and functionality.

  • Evaluation designer now allows users to associate evaluations directly with clients (not just VMS clients). Multiple Clients can be associated with a specific Evaluation. Clients now have access to both the Client-specific evaluations as well as any general evaluations available in TSS.

  • Evaluation designer now allows for selecting either a 5 or 3 option scale. It also has 100%, 80%, 60% scoring for the 3-point scale. New scale title options are also available. These scales are in line with Joint Commission Standards.

  • Evaluations are now easily accessible from both the Temp and Client areas of TSS. A link to the Evaluations Manager is displayed on both the Temps and Clients sub-navigation areas. These areas fall directly below the tab name in the purple (for Temps) and green (for Clients) area. Clicking on the Evaluations link in the Temp sub-navigation will display a list of Evaluations completed by Client facilities where the Temp has worked. Clicking on the Evaluations link on the Client sub-navigation will display a list of Evaluations completed for Temps who have worked for the Client. Both of these Evaluations pages include the ability to filter by Region and Scheduled Date Range.

  • Clients can now complete evaluations of Temps independent of a specific order. Now that evaluations are not required to be associated an order, Clients can evaluate Temps multiple times if necessary. A specified service period can now be designated for an Evaluation, allowing an “expiration date” of sorts for the Evaluation. Evaluations also track the name of the person that administered the evaluation.

  • Two dates are noted for Evaluations: the date the Evaluation was assigned and the date the Evaluation was completed.

  • Improvements have been made to Evaluation Reporting.


Client Access Improvements

  • The Client Access Requests/Messages screen has been improved. The display now distinguishes between Per Diem and Long Term Orders. Clicking on the count link will take the user to the Order Manager window, where a summary of the specified orders will be displayed. The link to the Client Calendar remains as a separate function. Any orders requested to be cancelled via Client Access will now display a RED ‘CREQ' tag within the Order Manager to help the TSS user visually separate Cancelled requests from Open requests.

  • The Client Access Calendar display and navigation has been updated and improved. The Calendar now sorts orders by Order Class (Long Term Orders first, then Per Diem), Job Start Date, Shift Start Time, then Temp's Last Name.

  • The design and functionality of the Client Access Order Request Form has been improved. Order Types are now pulled from TSS and populated in the Order Request Form.

  • Client users can now cancel an Order request, although they cannot cancel an order. Client users can also edit submitted Orders, as long as an Agency user has not started working the Order.

  • Order Specialties are now tied to Floors, as long as they have been set up in the Client record. Specialties to which the Client user has access are now displayed on the welcome screen, unless the user has access to all specialties. If the user has access to all specialties, no specialties will be displayed on the welcome screen.

  • Client users now have the ability to request Long Term Order Assignments. The LT Order request form now includes start and end dates, duration, and order types that are tied to the Long Term Order Manager in TSS. Long Term Assignments display with a colored banding behind them on the Calendar and any Shifts assigned to that LT Order will show up inside the banding for that day.

  • Improvements have been made to the automated Client Access Journal Entry Tracking feature.

  • Improvement of the Client Access Messaging feature allows for more streamlined communication between Client users and Agency representatives.

  • Client Access users can now complete an evaluation for a Temp independent of an order. The Evaluations that were designated for the Client in the Evaluation Manager will be visible. This is independent of VMS.

  • Client users can view Temps that are either shared or have been noted as preferred by the Client.

  • Improvements have been made to TSS Client Contact settings for Client Access. All features that were once considered part of Advanced Client Access, and only available for an additional charge, are now available without an additional cost for all Client Access users. These features include permissions to allow the Client Contact user to Enter and Edit orders, Share Temps, make requests to cancel open orders, make requests to cancel filled orders within a certain timeframe before the start of the shift, and perform Temp evaluations.

  • When viewing the monthly calendar in Client Access, there is now a count of how many orders for that month are awaiting confirmation. A notice will also be displayed for any future months containing orders awaiting confirmation.

 

Referral Source Tracking Improvements

  • A new “Referral Source” field is available in the Temp Record and new functionality has been added to the existing “Referred By” field. Both fields can be noted as required fields in the Admin area of TSS. The “Referral Source” field options are managed in the Admin area and display as a drop-down menu when entering a new Temp record, or editing an existing Temp record. Users have two options for the “Referred By” field. They can either enter a text value or select from a drop-down menu. Values entered in the text field become available in the drop-down menu once the Temp record is saved.

  • Visibility and modification permissions for both the “Referral Source” and “Referred By” fields are managed via the User Manager. To view or modify either field, the user must be granted “View” and/or “Modify” permission in their User record.

  • Improvements have been made to the Referral Report. An additional column for “Referral Source” is now included. Report results can now be filtered by “Referral Source” and “Referred By” field information. An option to sort by Referral Source has also been added.

 

Joint Commission Compliance

DNR Reporting has been improved. Users can how track DNR categories such as Professional or Clinical. These measures are critical for Joint Commission reporting. Two views now available for DNR Reporting – detailed and summary of DNR activity.

Documents Upload

Users can now upload and store files up to 5MB in size to the Temp and Client Documents area.
